Steam Train No. 1450

Built in Swindon by the GWR in 1935, she spent much of her life in Oxford working the Abingdon Branch before finally being withdrawn from service by British Rail in 1965, after a working life totalling some 823,012 miles.

Beautifully restored & maintained, the Engine can now be seen at a number of preserved railways throughout the country; pictured here at Bewdley Station on the Severn Valley Railway.
