1938 Southern Railway liveried Scammell Mechanical Horse at Bewdley Station.

Conceived in the early 1930s by Napier & Sons, it comprised of a tractor unit with a detachable trailer, providing the answer to the problem of replacing horses for local haulage purposes whilst maintaining the flexibility of changing the wagons.
