Regency Wharf

Regency Wharf

Old Red brick warehouse which stands mainly on the site of Pearce & Cutlers Glass works. Cutlers was founded by Solomon Cutler in 1854 & was later amalgamated to form Pearce & Cutlers, which remained here until 1960.

The main pool with the colourful canal boats is Gas Street Basin, & to the right is Worcester bar. This barrier was built due to an ongoing dispute between Birmingham & Worcester canals, & its purpose was to seperate the ownership of the waters - making loading & off loading of goods extremely challenging.
